My wife’s grilled chicken sandwich was ok too (according to her). I successfully got through it and it was OK. The hot dogs on the other hand were a hit with the kids. And now I have to deal with a burger that that has almost no toppings. It’s just not the juicy patty that I’m looking for. At this point of life, I think that my eyes can tell me what my mouth is about to taste. So after taking the first bite I kind of got that initial feeling that it was good, but then not. On the other hand, it’s always a great opportunity for me to fully taste the patty without the mix of the other components. At that point I remembered that I was so excited about the option of having all of my favorite toppings on the burger without paying for it and the only words that came out of my mouth was – mushrooms! And Sauteed Onions instead of saying- put it all on! And I was so hungry that going back and asking them to add it was out of the question. If you look closer you would see that a couple of things are missing. So you start to origami the paper bag into a tray setup that you can eat on top of. And then you have to start organizing the meal on the table and be creative with the serving because they do not provide plates or trays. Like many chains (5 Guys for example) the entire meal was put into one paper bag, everything gets messy and mixed. This is where things started to go the other path – no it’s a bad path, but not the one that I expected it to be. So after about 30 minutes of wait the food has arrived. So you get a bonus today!īurgers, Chicken and Hotdogs, because who needs more?
And, because I was with my kids, I ordered some fried chicken, hotdogs, onion rings, fries and fried pickles for a change, which I will note it in the review. Already making me happy by not paying for the extras that I like. And it was all included in the price (or free). So, as I always do, I picked up the double patty with sauteed onions and grilled mushrooms on top of the regular O.T.L.P. The mother and kids are managing the orders, drinks and sides, while the dad cooks the burgers. Since it’s a very small place to begin with, during a street fair they are usually packed and the waiting time is about 30-45 minutes. Yeah, a small town solution for your convenience. In the same building there is also have a mexican restaurant downstairs. So it’s like small food court, because neither have enough space for sitting. So the shop is located inside a sharing space with another breakfast place. That was a great opportunity for me to check it out. Walking through downtown, I remembered that the Burger Shop is located right at the entrance to the show (or the end- depending on where you are coming from). I love this type of show because you get to look at some unique designs with furious engines and appreciate how much time and effort some folks our putting into their beautiful cars. Everything from a 1939 Fords up to the newest Corvettes and Mustangs.
