Go-Bots #1 During the beginnings of the Go-Bot insurrection, Rest-Q picked up an injured human on the pretense of helping, only to commit what the Go-Bot obliquely referred to as "surgery". Rest-Q was built by humanity to serve as a self-driving ambulance/doctor. Rest-Q was among those left behind while Path Finder guided the team forward. Journey's Eve After a night's rest, the group separated again to maximize their speed to their destination. As they prepared to continue on to the next leg of their journey, Rest-Q noted the team would need considerable repairs before seeing action again. High NoonĪfter passing their attacker, Rest-Q and the GoBots entered the Iron Works and reconnected with their advance team. Scouting the area, Rest-Q and the Go-Bots attracted the attention of the negative polarity Autobot Stepper. When the ground patrol reached the general area of the Autobot Ironworks, they grew suspicious of the lack of radio traffic from their advance fliers. The doc quickly patched him up (well, he accelerated the cyborg patient's pre-existing self-repair capabilities, but same difference). He gave Road Ranger a once-over with his diagnostic hand and discovered a leak in Ranger's fuel line. In the play Waiting for Godot, the central characters, Estragon and Vladimir, wait for a character named Godot, who never arrives. Road Ranger was complaining about low energy reserves after having to carry Treds' bulky tank mode on his flatbed, so Rest-Q called for a pit-stop. They traveled over land for a time until they reached the outskirts of Oregon. When the team split in two, Rest-Q and the other ground 'bots came under Treds's command. He was glad to see her team was in good health but inadvertently started a spat between Man-O-War and Path Finder's group when he asked where the AWOL Bug Bite was. Strange as it seems, these beings of metal and flesh may be their universe's counterparts to the Transformers as, according to an edition of Ask Vector Prime in Transformers Animated: The AllSpark Almanac II, their home planet Gobotron is the aspect of the omnipresent Primus for their very distant portion of the multiverse.When the whole universe was threatened by a Cataclysm, Rest-Q was given a new body and sent as part of a three-man cross-faction team to join Path Finder in saving the day. They're not even robots, but cyborgs: Guardians and Renegades from the shattered planet Gobotron. Yet these seemingly mechanical beings are not Autobots or Decepticons. After untold years of battle that war has spilled over onto Earth, where the combatants alter their bodies to take on disguises of land and air vehicles and continue their conflict among us! It centers on the adventures of Aero-Bot, Beast-Bot, Buzzer-Bot, Speed-Bot, and Strong-Bot, a group of robotic protectors sent to Earth from their home city of Botropolis, which is located on a comet. The Go-Bots cartoon series serves as a companion to the Go-Bots toyline.
